About TMA…

TMA was founded by Tim Morgan. Tim is a chartered accountant (ACA) qualifying with Ernst & Young before spending 5 years doing M&A advising on exits and acquisitions in the $5m-$250M range. In 2006, Tim co-founded Mint Digital, a leading provider of software to the broadcast industry. Mint was a pioneer of the “Startup Studio” model and cashflowed and launched around 40 of its own startups between 2008 and 2018, including Picklive (backed by Passion Capital, acquired by Sports Millions) and Stickygram (acquired by Photobox). 

Since Mint, Tim has invested the first money into each of the following companies:

Penfold - the challenger pension

Teller - US banking API backed by Founders Fund, Max Levchin (co-founder of Paypal) and Lightspeed

Mystic AI - the first company from the South West of England to make it onto YCombinator

Martello - same-day environmental searches.

He joined Teller rising to become its COO before founding TMA in 2024. Tim has deep domain knowledge across all areas of startup operations from ideation to exit with a network to match.
